Bajet 2010

As I predicted no bonus for government servant, well, at least RM 500 is allocated to government servant. Alhamdulillah. Money and property issues are the cornerstone of today's lives. Undeniably, money also may determine the country's future. Our dependency on money should not eliminate our culture values. Well, in today's society, people almost don't care on good manners. "Cakap siang pandang pandang" but because some people firmly believe that I have to tell the truth..yups, the method or manner that we intent to use may make other people shy away from you...just think!

Many things changed. People also look older..This is the first experience for my second and third sons. My second son still think that England is his kampung..well, here we come back England...yups for a visit but not to settle there..never ever!

Lailatul Qadar

Remember how do you spend your 'young days' before you get 'old'..yups, as we are approaching the last ten days of ramadan, we should increase our ibadah during this Holy Month. It is challenging but it cannot be expressed in words in performing siyyam (fasting)- the sweetness of Ibadah. May Allah bless us all. Amin.

Turkey..

At this time, I should not allowed my thoughts to think about food, I should allow my eyes to have a look only, is it okay?
Pics captured during Boxing Day 2008- we managed to get a seven kg turkey fresh and halal from Stoke. It is so yummy..(opss) and thanks to Chef Dee Dee a.k.a Victoria

Being healthy ..

With the increasing number of deaths involving swine flue (whatever) it is called, it is high time for us to 'muhasabah' ourselves..to look into ourselves and sincerely evaluate our relationship with Allah s.w.t but also with people around us. Health is a gift from Allah, being healthy reminds me of five essential in our life.

My boy (s)..opss..photo big brother nya lupa download..

He complained that the toilet was not clean, his friend (s) were noisy..he kept comparing his current school with his school in England..hmm, when will schools in Malaysia will be child-friendly? Hopefully, he will sit for his mid sem exam in peace!

There is no place like home but I miss my sister (s)

Being home is like heaven for me, being in England for almost four years, I really appreciate the land that I call home, Malaysia. again, still staying with my parents despite having three growing boys, I think something is still missing. yups, my two younger sister(s) are away in England to complete their study. Hmm..no matter where you go, you will still keep thinking about them, your family members. Ya Allah, rabbi yasser wa la tuathir ummurana. Ameen.

Being a 'Mama'..

in today's late modern society as what sociologists said, we as parents are facing challenges in raising our children. Schooling, social behavior, etc just name it, is a big concern for me as a mother to three growing boys..ulum Islamiyah (knowledge on Islam) and how to practice it, for many Muslims, is a must in facing today's world. Instilling the good akhlaq, respecting the old and loving the young one, is not only a saying but we must try to instill it. Having a child does not mean, you are responsible to change his diapers only but also to change his mindset that life is not a bed of roses! alhamdulillah, having children make you think a lot of what life is..

Hot weather!!

Lately, the weather is very challenging, in the sense it really tests how can you stand with the weather. They said it is the effects of global warming. hmm whatever. yet, it reminds me that the world is getting older and of course, it reminds me the day of judgment- the Here After..

Why do I like my playgroup?

The most challenging part being a mama- my boy resists to attend his nursery- at the age of five. Earlier, he was attending school in England. Attached pics captured at his previous playschool- pictures speak louder than words..why I like my previous playgroup

Flashback..

Wintry shower? Snowing..Global warming, people say that when it is cold- it is extreme cold and when the weather is hot- the same also happen. Malaysia too..is quite hot nowadays..some pics which I captured during Autumn 2008 but it was also snowing at that time. Subhanallah.

A Gift from Allah

Alhamdulillah, baby is definitely a miracle. Pregnancy and delivering a baby has been a meaningful experience for me, although this is the third one. It reminds me of pain, happiness and how does it feel to be a mother and parents. The responsibility of being parents is a new journey..

Foods

Alhamdulillah..Malaysia is rich with its authentic food..halalan tayyiba. Enjoy some pics captured during Tahlil. " Kampung Style" Pahang. 1st Pic- Pulut Kuning. 2nd and 3rd pics- Lauk Pauk and Kuih Badak Berkubang.

Final Days in England.... 2008

Time to unwind and family union. Down to Nottingham and gathering with my two younger sisters who are always young (the secret, ask them lah)..Boxing Day was only nearby home in Stoke. Then, off we went to visit my colleagues in Southampton, Exeter and London.

Back to Work Soon..Insya Allah

Insya Allah, I will be going home after completing my PhD. Alhamdulillah, the viva examination (oral) was great! It was really challenging to provide a comprehensive answer based on my research. The viva session took only 30 minutes. What a relief!
I submitted on 29 Sept 2008, which means 3 years and 4 months, alhamdulillah, just sharing, no intention to boast. Yet, I did enjoy the waiting process. Besides, I discovered myself expecting another baby before submission. Masya Allah!

Looking back, it seemed like yesterday I started this long journey, I started my study leave on 19 May 2005, and alhamdulillah, rezeki, we managed to enjoy business class as it was informed the price was the same. We reached Manchester Airport after almost 13 hours in flight. I might say that I was totally sleepy. We were picked up by an English driver who drove us to Stoke-on-Trent, where we met our Tok Penghulu. Abang Fauzi & Kak Sai. We were really impressed with their hospitality as if we were old friend. Tne next day, we move to a larger house- belongs to a Pakistani named Mr. Ali. The early days in Stoke was gloomy and miserable. Not only the conditions of the house worsened the situation but homesick..huhuhu..well, that was in the past!! Now,I am counting the days to go back for good. I have started packing since I have submitted my thesis. The viva was held on 11 December 2008- a few weeks just before Christmas. Time to have a long break!

Enjoying..

Enjoying..
